SWDP is an independent private school serving students in grades 4–12, preparing them for college, trades, and a wide range of life goals. SWDP is not a homeschool program, though some students are dual-enrolled with local homeschool programs. Enrollment at SWDP is based on an interview and selection process, ensuring that students share a culture of striving for excellence in both academics and athletics.
At SWDP, we uphold a traditional structure and discipline rooted in Christian values. We recognize that every student has unique strengths and abilities, and we tailor goals at the Academy to support each individual’s growth and success.
All high school core classes at SWDP are NCAA-accredited, allowing students the option to pursue Division I or Division II collegiate athletics.
Vision
To continuously pursue distinction at our Academy by developing academic and athletic standards that build character, reward dedication, and foster excellence at local, national, and global levels.

All students must take Physical Education from 8 to 9:30 a.m. This requirement ensures that every student is awake and fresh before classes at 9:30 a.m. Just like the military culture, we want students to start their day stress-free, mentally and physically.

What led SWDP to go from Homeschool Program to Private School?
1. Our higher-level Athletes at Interior Grappling Academy were starting to have issues with some educators on how much school was missed. Our top athletes wrestle year round and some times even travel overseas for two or three weeks. When you throw other sports in it all as well school work has to be managed differently.
2. Small group training, weight training, and understanding mat IQ take more than one practice. Having PE in the morning every day gives you that added time advantage. Being able to also just go straight into core classes for school without the extra time wasted manages athletes' time better.
3. Going to six different classes a day with different personalities can sometimes make things longer than they need to be. 7-hour school days and then 2 hours of homework is crazy. Spending time in a class every day but being told that you need to do your work at home adds up to asking what do they do in that class.
4. A small group environment with people who have the same goals and aspirations can help pinpoint the proper focus. Weekly group talks on current events and future goals help develop how we see things from the students' point of view.
